I was whine-ing today about having to get up early for my weekly massage. 9 am was the only appointment I could get. That is an ungodly hour for a stand up comedian. But I drug my fat ass out of the bed and made it to the appointment.
Do you feel sorry for me yet?
I didn't think so.
But on the ride home It got me thinking about all the positive benifits of massage, and eating right, and using the correct products for your health. It may sound as though I splurge on myself for these things. In fact if you are going to spend any money in life, wouldn't spending it on yourself be the best possible use of those funds?
I dont mean going crazy. I can't afford much these days. I don't make appointments at the Spa at Cesars Palace.
I use a local Chiropracter who offers massage as a treatment option. I get a wonderful massage, followed by an adjustment. It runs through my health insurance and it only costs me a tip for the massage therapist. It is a great tool for my health.
There are other options and things that you should and can do for yourself, such as drinking enough water, regular excersise ( Ha! Like I excersise!), and eating right, that need done regardless of price. Others that should be added if possible, include regular massage, infa-red sauna's, organic health care and beauty products, as well as regular doctor check ups.
Health isn't expensive, it's priceless!
